Yuletide: Publisher tasks FG on roads

The Federal Government has been urged to revisit the abandoned and on-going road projects across the country.
This, according to the publisher of Street journal, an online publication, Wole Arisekola, became necessary given the deplorable conditions of the federal roads presently abandoned or ignored in every part of the country.
Aritsekola, who is also Chairman, Association of Online Media Practitioners of Nigeria (AMPON), in a press statement, noted that thousands of Nigerians currently traveling on such roads in a bid to celebrate the Yuletide with their loved ones are going through agony and pains travelling on such roads because of their bad conditions.
For instance, he regretted that “travelling on Lagos-Ibadan expressway during this Yuletide is not a good experience. A good portion of the road are either uncompleted or abandoned by their handlers, leading to loss of man hour as a result of traffic gridlocks”.
