Bethesda Child Support Agency, a non-profit, non-governmental organisation and educational arm of Freedom Foundation, organised a Christmas party for over 600 children currently benefitting from its scholarship program.
At the colourful event, which took place at The Dome, This Present House, Lekki Phase 1, Lagos, Miss Olusola Adeola, Executive Secretary of Freedom Foundation, said, “Bethesda’s success is directly linked to the support system of a vibrant, committed and active group of people who play different roles in sustaining the project. We are happy to see our collective efforts are yielding appreciable results; transforming lives and improving the wellbeing of our children”. The event featured rendition of Christmas Carols by pupils of the four Bethesda Nursery and Primary Schools in Ikota, Ijaiye-Ojokoro, Bariga and Matogun communities. Nigerian music celebrities – Tosin Martins and Tim Godfrey – sang alongside the children.
