DasukiGate: Chief Tony Anenih Writes To EFCC

Chief Tony Anenih, a former chairman of the
Board of Trustees of the Peoples Democratic
Party (PDP), states that the N260 million
transferred to him by the office of the former
national security adviser (NSA), Sambo
Dasuki, was on the instruction of the former
president Goodluck Jonathan.
According to TheSun, Anenih wrote to a letter
to the Economic and Financial Crimes
Commission (EFCC), explaining the origin and
the designation of the money.
He mentioned that the N260 million paid to
him by the NSA’s office was a refund of part
of the N440 million he used to execute
assignments at the request by the former
Nigeria’s president.

Agreement With Other Political Parties Leaked
If confirmed, it means that Goodluck
Jonathan was yet to pay an outstanding
N180 million owed to Anenih.
A source at the EFCC also revealed
that Anenih claimed that though the refund
of N260 million was made through the office
of the ex NSA, Dasuki, the chief did not give
his account numbers to anyone. However,
Anenih confirmed that he provided his
account details to Jonathan on request for a
refund of the money spent on the 2015
campaign.
The ex PDP chief noted he was not in a
position to ask the PDP’s hopeful in the
presidential race how he was going to source
the fund, or through which office the refund
was going to be made.
Chief Anenih further named some
beneficiaries of his personal money:
N25 million – Alhaji Mukhtar Shagari, to the
former deputy governor of Sokoto state;
N35 million – a delegation of local
government leaders from Katsina state;
N63 million – a northern group led by elder
statesman AlhajiTankoYakassai;
N100 million – Chief Olu Falae, the national
chairman of the Social Democratic Party
(SDP);
N100 million – Senator Rashidi Adewolu
Ladoja, the leader of Accord Party.

In conclusion, Anenih wrote he knew nothing
about the money related to arms contract
deals. He informed the anti-graft agency that
he had made “personal sacrifices” to ensure
that the candidate of his party won by
accepting to use his personal money to pick
some campaign bills. The ex PDP chief
regretted that he could not recover all the
money spent till present.
The EFCC is currently probing the $2.1 billion
arms contract scandal involving the ex-NSA
boss, Dasuki. Some prominent politicians,
PDP leaders and members of the immediate
past administration were named as the
beneficiaries of the money.
Colonel Sambo Dasuki (rtd.) is alleged to
have shared the money meant for the
purchase of arms to fight the Boko Haram
insurgency to finance the campaign and
boost the re-election chances of Goodluck
Jonathan in the March 28, 2015, general
election.
There are indications that four more
prominent Nigerians are to be questioned by
the anti-graft agency soon.

Dasuki Gate: EFCC Didn’t Ask Me To Return Money – Falae

Chief Olu Falae, the national chairman of the
Social Democratic Party (SDP) has denied
reports in some quarters (not Naij.com) that
the Economic and Financial Crimes
Commission asked him to return the N100m
he collected from a former Chairman of the
Board of Trustees of the Peoples Democratic
Party, Chief Tony Anenih.

The former secretary to the government of
the federation speaking in an interview with
The Punch, said no one had asked him to
return the money, which is alleged to have
come from the former National Security
Adviser, Col. Sambo Dasuki.
Olu Falae says he hasn’t been asked by the
EFCC to return the N100million Given to him
by Tony Anenih
He said: “(The) PDP gave me money and I
gave the money to the SDP, which has
confirmed receipt of the money. No one has
asked me to return any money.
“I did not tell anyone that I was asked to
return money. The reports showed great bias
towards me.”

Jafaru Isa’s Arrest By EFCC
Falae’s statement comes weeks after he
admitted collecting N100 million from Tony
Anenih, a former chairman of the Board of
Trustees (BoT) of the PDP.
He said: “It is true I received the money for
the party and then it was distributed to the
state branches of the party for onward
distribution to other levels of the party.
“The money came through the party’s
account and it was through this account that
the monies were distributed.
“The account is there for everyone to verify. I
can assure you that all the branches of the
party in the states received the money.
“We have over 200,000 people in the party,
am I supposed to go around telling everyone
that I have received the money.
“I have my integrity intact. I was a former MD
of a bank, I was a former minister and a
former secretary to the government of the
federation.
“Once they cannot link us to the Dasuki
thing, they are coming up with all sorts of
things.
“Based on my integrity, these allegations
should be discarded. At 78, what will I be
doing with public funds.”
Naij.com recalls that the money was part of
at least $2.1 billion allegedly diverted by a
former National Security Adviser, Sambo
Dasuki, from arms purchase to politicians.

Nigerian Army Lied, They Killed In Thousands -Islamic Group

The secretary, Media forum of the Islamic
Movement of Nigeria (IMN), Mr. Abdulmumin
Giwa, today, December 16, claimed that the
Nigerian soldiers killed thousands of its
members during the recent clash between the
movement and the Nigerian military.
Mr. Giwa made this declaration at a press
briefing in Abuja to shed more light on what
has been described in many quarters as a
gross violation of human rights by the
Nigerian military.
The secretary of the forum for the Islamic
movement said there was no threat posed to
the life of the Chief of Army Staff (COAS), Lt
Gen Tukur Yusuf Buratai by its members as
being alleged by the Nigerian army.
Recounting what transpired on the day of the
killings, Mr Giwa said the COAS had already
passed only for soldiers to appear few
minutes later with arms and artillery.
“On that same day there was to be a Passing
out Parade (POP) at Zaria for recruits or so.
And the Chief of Army Staff (COAS) was
coming from the palace of the Emir to that
place. There were other routes he could have
taken but for one reason or the other they
decided to follow that route despite the fact
that an event was going to take place that
will attract a lot of people.
“What usually happened is that there are
people who actually help in managing traffic,
preparing parking spaces for people and
arranging people in queues to be searched
before they enter for security purposes and
things like that. That is what the movement
is aware of. To say that the COAS was
stopped in that area despite the military
presence……everyone should be surprised that
he was blocked.

Value Nigerian Lives
“Somehow he passed and went to the event
he was going for. But not up to an hour later
the military started coming with their arms
and artillery to the point stationing
themselves around. You know some of them
were even questioned as to what is there and
what is happening. They said they are having
a POP and they have to ensure security
around. So when they took positions and did
everything they just started opening fire and
at that point in time there were people who
had arrived for the event. A lot of people
were killed and in fact in that Husainiyya
center if I say not less than 300 hundred
people are killed it is not an exaggeration,”
Giwa said.
He also spoke on how the military went
about killing members of the movement in
other parts of the town especially in Gelesu,
the house of the leader of the movement and
Darur Rahma, where the movement bury their
loved ones.
He accused the military of mutilating the
bodies of those killed and also instigating
mobs to steal from them.
“There are three incidents here, first is the
passage of the COAS and secondly the
subsequent attack on the Husainiyya by
soldiers and then thirdly the attack on the
house of the leader of the movement at
Gelesu.
“The people are loyalists. So they came there
to protect their leader and prevent him from
been killed as his life has always been in
danger. They were standing there harmlessly
while the military was there with its guns and
artillery. They shot at people sporadically for
up to 27 hours. And in that place (Gelesu)
the number of people that were killed is four
times the number of people that was killed at
Husainiyya center.
“There were check points mounted on the
road to protect the leader of the movement
and when the army got there they started
shooting. Many people were killed. You need
to see how bloody the place was. Bodies
were mutilated and they even instigated
mobs to start stealing things from the
corpses. They gathered the dead bodies
together. There are videos.
“And apart from that of Gelesu there is still
the burial ground, Darur Rahman along Zaria-
Jos road where members of the movement
used to bury their people. Some people at
the place where also attacked and dispersed
from that place. People were also killed there
and the killings continued for 27 hours,” the
secretary to the media forum of the
movement said.
Mr. Giwa said attempts were made to get to
the hierarchy of security agencies and the
state government to come to their aid but all
were futile.
“Attempts were made to call on the security
and other leaders in the country and state to
stop the killings and shootings and nothing
was done and many lives were lost –women,
children ……innocent children. It is such that
every member of the movement have
someone that has been killed. Even the
spokesperson of the movement, Ibrahim
Usman who is a journalist like you was shot
in cold blood.
“Many people were killed and there are
pictures. The military took a lot of dead
bodies to unknown locations. We call on the
government, we call on those concerned to
look into the situation. There are also
suspicions that there are massive graves
being created around.”

Earlier in his statement, Mr Giwa noted that
prior to the killings that happened on Sunday,
December 13, ‘there had been attacks on the
members of the movement where 35 people
were killed in cold blood including the three
sons of the leader, Shiek Ibrahim Alzak-zaky.’
He continued: “Nothing took place apart from
the condolences and the leader of the
movement called for calm insisting that he
would follow due process in addressing the
issue.
“Up till now nothing has been done on that so
people were a bit careful and resentful at the
military stationed outside the event venue
and this created a kind of tension.”
Meanwhile, the Boko Haram members today,
killed a Lieutenant-Colonel and other officers
during a fierce battle with the Nigerian army.
Reports has it that the terrorist group
attacked the convoy at a town along Bama/
Konduga axis.

Buhari Orders Customs To Give Seized Rice Others To IDPs

President Muhammadu Buhari has ordered
the Nigeria Customs Service (NCS) to give
relief materials seized from smugglers in it
warehouses to Internally Displaced Persons,
(IDPs).

According to the para-military public relations
officer, Wale Adeniyi, the comptroller general
has set up a national committee that would
coordinate and manage the movement and
the transfer of seized relief items to give
effect to the President’s directive.
“It is important to stress that these items are
only those that have been condemned
properly in the competent court of law and
have been forfeited to the Federal
Government of Nigeria.
“They include food items like rice, vegetable
oil, spaghetti and essential items like soap,
used clothing materials, mosquito nets,
beddings and others,’’ he said.

Mr. Adeniyi said that members of the
committee were drawn from Customs
Service, Army, Air Force, Police, Immigration
Service and the EFCC.
According to him, the customs boss also
included some NGOs, civil society
organisations and the media to give the
committee a measure of transparency and
credibility.
However, he said that the distribution of
relief items to the IDPs would slightly be
different from the previous ones the service
had done.
“This time around, our targets are not the
IDPs camps; our targets are the IDPs
themselves who are in these camps.”
“We expect that the exercise will take a
period of about eight weeks and the trip will
start very soon.
“The exercise is going to be slightly different
from what we have been doing before
because we want these things to end up
directly with the end users.

“We are going to be working with state
governments, community leaders and other
relief agencies to ensure that these items get
to the IDPs in a secure and transparent
manner,” Mr. Adeniyi assured.
Hundreds of thousands of people were
displaced by the Boko Haram insurgency that
has ravaged north-eastern Nigeria.
Meanwhile, the Nigeria Customs Service
(NCS) has mandated all its officers to declare
their assets.

My Daughter Snatched My Husband.. Please Read

These days, what makes news is when a woman
snatches her daughter’s husband, or a daughter
sleeps with her father. Rarely does a month pass
before such depraved acts are reported by the
media.
Recently, a university employee admitted in an
interview with Parent magazine that her daughter
snatched her husband.
Mercy Igoki, a 48-year-old senior assistant
registrar told her bizarre story and claims she has
forgiven both her daughter and her husband for
the pain they caused her. She said:
“I share the circumstances under which my
marriage split up hoping it will inspire someone to
start her own journey to forgiveness and
restoration, as opposed to bitterness, anger and
death,” she says.
In 2006, while working as a teacher and
counsellor in a local high school, Mercy met an
orphan girl. She took her home and adopted the
girl who was three years older than Mercy’s first
born.
Mercy says the girl bonded very well with her
family and her problems began when she had to
resign from her job to recover from an accident
that left her with multiple fractures.
“I enrolled for an undergraduate degree in
education in Meru. I would be away from home
sometimes up to three weeks or longer at a time
because of my studies.
It was while travelling back from one of these
trips in 2008, just after my daughter had finished
high school, that I received a phone call from one
of my neighbours. She told me, ‘Just know that
girl you are living with is not your daughter but
your co-wife. I was shocked.”
Mercy says she decided to investigate and
discovered clandestine correspondence between
them.
“In anger, I confronted them and to my shock, my
husband blamed me for the affair, saying I had
brought the girl to him,” says Mercy. She has
since forgiven them.
Not surprisingly, cases of older women snatching
husbands from their daughters, or daughters
snatching men from their mothers are hardly
reported due to embarrassment and stigma.
Experts say such deviant behaviour is among
many modern ills placing the traditional family
unit at risk.
Mid last year, when an Embakasi woman, Hannah
Mwenje, caught her husband and mother in her
matrimonial bed one morning, her tears sent the
nation reeling in shock, particularly because she
was forced to endure the indignity of watching
them.
“It was a Sunday. I went to church with my two
children. My husband was still sleeping when I
left.
During the church service, my baby became
restless so I decided to leave before the service
was over because he was making so much noise
and disrupting the service.
I got home and found the door open. I could hear
voices from the bedroom,” she says, pausing to
describe their two-room house in Pipeline,
Embakasi.
My husband heard me walk in and came out of
the bedroom naked. He dragged me into the
bedroom and I found my mother naked in bed. I
was dazed,” Mwenje recalls. She says the two
went ahead and finished their ‘business’ as she
stood shell-shocked watching them.
When they finished, my mother told me that a
man like my husband didn’t deserve a woman like
me. She then dressed and gave my one-year-old
son five shillings to go buy sweets. They left with
my husband as I collapsed on the floor,” says
Mwenje.
Mwenje wanted to kill herself but she didn’t have
the energy to stand up. She stayed on the floor
for hours before she sent her three-year-old elder
son to call a neighbour.
“The neighbour came and helped me stand up. I
had no strength. She took me to her house and
took care of my children,” says Mwenje.
Her husband, who is a plumber, and her mother
went and started living together.

Suspected Ritualists Kill 20- Year-Old Bride After Wedding

Facts have emerged on how Aisha Isa Fagge,
a newly-wedded bride was killed just twelve
days after her wedding.
The Kano bride was found brutally murdered
by unknown person(s) in August 2015 and
there were no traces as to who could have
perpetrated the dastardly act.
But, five months down the line, facts have
started building up on the possibility of her
husband being involved in the untimely death
of the bride which incident occurred in
Sharada Ja’en Quarters, Kano.

her wedding. Photo: Daily Trust
According to Daily Trust, Alhaji Nura
Muhammad, the deceased’s husband told
police that he found her lifeless body in the
sitting room, with both of her hands tied with
a rope.

Circumstances In Ondo
In his explanation, Muhammad confirmed
that he had spoken with her on the phone at
about 10.00am that day and all was well but
became worried when he got home and did
not get a response to the knocks on the door.
He said: “A neighbour, Rabi’u Abdulkadir,
joined me and we broke down the door, and
entered the house to find Aisha dead.”
Contrary to police reports that she was
raped, a family source revealed that the
women who performed the cleansing ritual on
the late bride’s corpse, confirmed that there
were no signs of rape, insisting that she was
used for ritual.
The source said: “She was found fully-clothed
with no sign of struggle or assault. Only her
husband, Nura, can shed true light, as he
was the first person on the murder scene.”
According to Police Public Relations Officer
(PPRO), DSP Magaji Musa Majia, “Late Aisha
was found dead, naked with her two hands
tied with a rope, suggesting that she was
raped before killed.

“Police had during investigation discovered
some bloodstains and semen on Abdulzahir
Muhammad Saminu, one of the two suspects
arrested. Saminu is the groom’s friend, while
the other suspect is Rabi’u Abdulkadir, a
neighbor.”
But when the case came up last Monday for
continuation, Alhaji Muhammad, the
deceased’s husband had been arrested on the
premises of the court as requested by the
prosecution counsel Barrister Lamido Abba
Soron-Dinki.
The PPRO informed afterwards that, “We
have strong evidence that Nura had a hand in
the murder of late Aisha,” adding that he is
being interrogated at the Criminal
Investigation Department (CID) of the
command.
While being taken to a vehicle parked at the
premises of the court, Muhammad reportedly
told journalists that, “Even if one of the two
accused persons is my friend does not mean
I am party to the murder of my late wife.
Why on earth would I kill my own wife?”
The late bride’s father, Alhaji Isa Fagge, while
commenting on the sad incident, told Daily
Trust although he was shocked with the turn
of things, he has left everything to God.
“I’ve left everything to God. I have lost her
and she will never come back again,” he said,
adding that since the police have taken over
the case, he hopes justice will prevail.

Fury After English Church Is Used For Pornographic Video

The vicar of a 137-year-old church has
described the decision by an adult film
company to shoot an EXPLICIT FETISH PORN
VIDEO on their grounds as upsetting.
Paul Tullet, vicar at Water Orton Parish Church
in England, said no permission had been
sought by website PornXN to record on its
premises after a hardcore video shot at the
front door was uploaded online.
The film, featuring Hungarian pornstar Lyen
Parker, shows the actress exposing her naked
body and urinating in public.
An unidentified woman narrating from behind
the camera can be heard giving instructions
before the sordid act begins.
Local residents are said to be outraged after
their church was used for a porno
While being asked to take off her trousers, the
actress dances around in front of the sign,
giggling at the prospect of what she is about
to do.
She then poses for photographs, while the
camerawoman tells her she is ‘just as naughty
as everyone’.
She says: “At the moment we are in this
churchyard, which is pretty naughty. There’s
people going past.”
She is then dared to stand in front of the
church’s main sign and perform degrading
acts.
The woman filming tells her ‘that’s so bad’,
before zooming in on her and describing the
sordid scene for viewers.
Vicar Paul Tullet is furious that his church was
used without his permission
“We’ll quickly run away before we get any
vicars running after us, trying to shout at us,”
the narrator adds.
The shoot then continues on a local high street
and bus, where the actress is seen exposing
her nude body.
The video has since been shared widely online,
racking up hundreds of thousands of views.
It has, however, been condemned vicar Paul
Tullet.
Porn star Parker proceeded to get naked on
this bus
He said: “As I am sure you will be aware,
churchyards are important public spaces and
so valuable for grieving families looking for
space to think, remember and pray.
“Churchyards cannot be monitored 24 hours a
day and to hear that someone has abused this
resource is upsetting.
“Permission was not sought for the filming
and obviously, had it been, it would never have
been granted.”

Scientists Design Pleasurable Condoms That Protect From HIVL

A revolutionary condom that can increase
sexual pleasure and protect from HIV is being
developed by scientists.
According to scientists from the Texas A&M
University Health Science Center, the
contraceptive will be made out of hydrogel, a
solid, jelly-like material which is already used
in various medical products, including contact
lenses.
The condoms will be drenched with a plant-
based antioxidant substance that is capable
of killing the HIV-virus if the condom breaks.
Moreover, the antioxidant affects the nerve
endings thus enhancing sexual pleasure.

Head researcher Mahua Choudhury said:
“People say they don’t want to use
condoms because it doesn’t have the
same sexual pleasure. The anti-oxidant in
the condom will enhance
neurotransmitters which will work with
nerve endings, giving greater sexual
pleasure. If the HIV virus gets into to the
product, the condom will block it, prevent
it replicating, and prevent entry from the
body.”
The new condom is expected to go on sale in
2016 at around $1 each. It is estimated that
there are 36,9  million people worldwide
infected with HIV in 2014.

Guard Flees After Defiling Two Sisters In Lagos

A 61 year old guard in Lagos simply identified
as John is wanted by the police for allegedly
raping two sisters and appeasing them with
N200.
The Punch reports that the incident happened
in Fidella Street, Aladura Estate where the
girls, Comfort and Precious (real names
withheld) aged 11 and 10 respectively were
usually given N200 by John each time he
raped them. He also threatened to kill them
if they told anyone about it.

This was said to have continued for several
weeks until their mother, Rosemary Peter, a
food seller discovered on Sunday, August 30.
The girls complained about back pain and
Rosemary also noticed that the private part
of one of the girls was slack.

She said John usually asked the girls to
bring food in a take-away pack to his work
place and she would comply without
suspecting that he was using the opportunity
to take advantage of the girls. When the
matter was reported to the police, John fled
he area although the police are on his trail.
Rosemary said: “I work as a food seller. John
was one of my customers. He would say I
should send a take-away pack to him at his
workplace by afternoon. So, when the girls
returned from school, I would send the two
of them to take the food to him. I did not
suspect that he was raping them.
“When they took the food to him, he would
take them to a place and rape both of them.
After satisfying himself, he would give them
N200, and warn them not to say anything at
home. He would threaten that he would harm
them if they spoke up.
“Eventually, the two of them started to
complain about headache and back pain. I
was worried. On one occasion, I happened to
be where the 11-year-old was taking her
bath, and I observed that her private parts
were slack as an adult’s. I was shocked, and
I urged her to tell me what went wrong.
“That was when she opened up that it was
John who had been sleeping with her and her
sister. I rushed to the police station to make
a report, but news had got to John that the
girls had let out the matter, and he fled the
area on the same day.

“But the police have assured us that he
would be arrested. They told us to alert them
anytime we set our eyes on him.”
Fatai Gafar, a resident in the area said John
must be arrested and noted that the children
had not received adequate medical attention.
“The whole estate is aware of the incident. It
is very unfortunate. The security man does
not live here with his family. He was the only
person staying in the place he rented, and he
has fled.”
The rape of minors is fast becoming an
alarming occurence and unfortunately, few
cases get reported. This is sometimes due to
the stigma that is attached to the incident.
Some victims also refuse to report it for fear
of being accused of immorality.

Five Men Charged For Impregnating 13-Year-Old

Five men have been charged to court

The five men namely: Amadu Mairake, 60,
Samaila Hamza, 30, Hassan Surajo, 40, Sani

whereabouts, said the suspect would soon be
charged to court while investigations
continued into the whereabouts of the other
suspects.
Asuquo said: “What brought me to the police
station is because of the job given to us by
the man (name withheld) who promised to
pay five of us to kill a pregnant woman so
that her head and her unborn child would be
removed and used for charm in order that the
new council chairman would not be
appointed.

EFCC Boss Explains Why GEJ Hasn't Been Arrested

Ibrahim Magu, the chairman of the Economic
and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), has
finally explained why former president
Goodluck Jonathan has not been arrested over
$2.1 billion arms deal.
Ibrahim Magu has explained why former
president Goodluck Jonathan has not been
arrested over $2.1 billion arms deal.
The fund, which was managed by the office of
former national security adviser, Sambo Dasuki,
has led to the questioning, arrest and detention
of many prominent Nigerians. However, some
people are still wondering why the ex-president,
who is believed to be the principal actor in the
unfolding scenario, has not been arrested or
summoned for questioning.
The Eagle Online reports that Magu gave the
explanation on Monday, January 11, speaking
at a gathering of online news publishers under
the aegis of the Guild of Corporate Online
Publishers in Lagos.
The EFCC boss said that no document has
been traced to Jonathan giving any approval
for the disbursement of the money for any
other purpose than arms purchase.
He further noted that all those questioned so
far in connection with the money were people
who disbursed or collected it for reasons other
than the purchase of arms and ammunition.

“All approvals by former president Jonathan did
not mention that it was for political purposes.
“All the memos approved by him was for the
purchase of arms,” he said.
Magu said that Jafar Isa who was arrested for
receiving N170 million from Dasuki has already
refunded N100 million and signed an
undertaking to refund the balance. However, he
added that despite the refund, Isa would still
be prosecuted.
Speaking about Olisa Metuh, the EFCC boss
revealed that the national publicity secretary of
the Peoples Democratic Party said he would
rather go on hunger strike than refund the
N400 million he allegedly collected from
Dasuki.
Maga also said that Patrick Akpobolokemi, a
former boss of Nigerian Maritime
Administration and Safety Agency, was recently
re-arrested after new evidences of alleged
embezzlement of N34.5 billion and another
N600 million were linked to him.

victory would be for the benefit of the next
generation.
Meanwhile, there are indications that
some prominent Nigerians might soon be
invited by the anti-graft agency.
According to sources close to the EFCC, the
