Music star Tuface Idibia was the opening
performer at the ongoing Calabar Festival
and he thrilled thousands of people at the
ceremony including the state governor

In a report by The Nation, the African Queen
singer managed to get the people ecstatic
with his hit songs of yesteryears and many
have described it as a thrilling experience.
Lots of guests were present during the
performance including the deputy governor of
Cross River professor Ivara Esu as well as
other key members of the state government.

Tuface performed for a few hours and left a
lasting impression on the minds of the guests
present.
Tuface Idibia is a respected Nigerian
musician often referred to as a 21st century
icon by his peers. His hit song African Queen
remains one of the biggest African songs in
recent years as it went as far as Hollywood.
The singer had a 40th birthday celebration
concert titled Fortified at the Eko Hotel,
Lagos, on Sunday, September 20, 2015.
